the inner tinkerbells
are never easy to find
the outside so ready
to distract
a story weaves a story,
weaves a story, weaves
a story, the rope,
the tinkerbell is lost
still you are the cow
the tinkerbell is yours,
the leash bears your
name and is yours to
claim
the story bears the pain
of a borrowed story,
until you crack it open
and restore it’s glory
this is a call of return
to the cow –
the cow is a milker
the cow is a feeder
and you the cow,
are your own leader
