N. Annalakshmi Air Force Selection Board,
Mysore.
Psychological intervention based on the integral
perspectives of the human being developed by Sri Aurobindo and The Mother
through Integral
Yoga,
would be effective
in alleviating psychological disturbances and in furthering adjustment and
coping of the individual. An attempt is made in the present piece of
research to deduce
psychotherapeutic intervention techniques from the perspectives of Integral
Yoga for dealing with certain psychological disturbances experienced
by adolescent
school students. The effectiveness of the intervention in furthering adjustment
and enhancing coping amongst adolescents confronted with psychological problems
arising from stress and strain of living, was confirmed in this study.
