An Overview of Indian Psychology
Indian Psychology is a rather complex field, and there are many completely different ways one can look at it.
The approach I've followed here is based on the work of Sri Aurobindo and especially on his vision of an ongoing evolution of consciousness.
It is our first, and perhaps over-ambitious, attempt at presenting the main ideas of Indian Psychology in a non-linear fashion.
The good ideas behind this overview can all be attributed to Sri Aurobindo and the vast Sanskrit literature on which Sri Aurobindo based his work.
The few exceptions have been attributed individually. The errors should be attributed to me.
Feedback, whether as email to mail@ipi.org.in, or as a comment to one of the ip-blogs will be highly appreciated.
