Toward the flowering of Aravind Eye Care System

This paper looks at some aspects of the flowering of an organization, through a practical example. Two tools the Degrees of Freedom Graph and the Signature Tool are used in assessing where in its process of flowering the organization is. The organization in question is the esteemed Aravind Eye Care System, already a renowned institute invested with the aim of removing needless blindness around the world. Aurosoorya conducted a couple of assessments at the organization to determine its position on the Degrees of Freedom Graph and its degree and direction of flowering, through the use of the Signature Tool. The Degrees of Freedom Graph is an instance of a universally occurring fractal which is found to explain many phenomena, trends, and organizational actions. It is based on the levels of consciousness found in the human system. When applied to an organization it rapidly sheds light into the operational reality and strategic mind-set of the organization. As such it can be used as an effective tool to understand an organization's ground-reality. The Signature Tool is based on four universal archetypes which at their apex blossom into the fullness of the four powers of The Mother Maheshwari, Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, and Mahasaraswati. When coupled with the Degrees of Freedom Graph the Signature Tool sheds light on the nature and direction of the flowering which is perhaps in process of occurring. Through the use of these tools Aurosoorya was able to make some concrete recommendations to Aravind Eye Care System to assist it with its continued flowering.
